Payment and security

Yes. All payments are processed through a secure payment gateway. We work with trusted payment providers that comply with international security standards (data encryption, PCI DSS compliance). Funds are securely held until delivery is confirmed. In case of non-delivery, the sender is fully refunded.

As soon as the sender confirms receipt of the package, the payment is immediately released to the traveler. This ensures a fast and fair process for both parties.

For your safety. All payments must be made exclusively through RentaVoyage. A payment made outside the platform is not secure and cannot be refunded in case of a dispute. If a user asks you to pay via another method (bank transfer, PayPal, cash, etc.), refuse immediately and contact support.

Never accept it. Bypassing the system is strictly prohibited. Accepting a delivery or payment outside the platform exposes you to: no dispute resolution, no refund, no support, and a high risk of fraud. Report the user immediately to protect the community.

Watch out for suspicious behavior such as: requests for payment outside RentaVoyage, unusually low prices, refusal to communicate via the internal messaging system, pressure to act quickly or avoid the official system. If you notice any of these signs, stop the exchange immediately and contact support.

This ensures a fair transaction: the sender’s funds are protected until delivery is confirmed, and the traveler is paid automatically once delivery is validated. The held payment acts as a guarantee for both parties. Without this system, transactions would be much riskier.

Identity

User identities are verified through specialized providers that comply with security standards. Verified profiles display a 🛡️ “Verified” badge. In addition, reviews and ratings after each delivery help reinforce transparency and trust within the community.

Identity verification is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended to increase trust and reliability on the platform.
A sender may request a traveler to verify their identity before making a payment, and a traveler may request the same before accepting a booking.
These best practices help create a safer and more reliable community for everyone.

Shipping and delivery

Delivery time depends on the selected trip: it takes exactly the duration of the traveler’s journey. This makes shipping as fast as a direct flight or trip, without intermediate transit.

In case of an issue, our support team evaluates the situation. If the traveler is found responsible, the sender is refunded. We encourage senders to clearly describe the package and agree on precautions with the traveler.

Yes, our platform connects travelers across multiple countries. You can search for international trips and compare prices based on destination and travel date.

In case of a disagreement, our support team acts as a mediator. Payments remain on hold until the issue is resolved.
